The orbit determination for low-earth-orbit satellite (LEOS) can be achieved using Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS). The orbit determination accuracy could be raised by long continuous tracking arc to LEOS. Because the TDRS's location is in dynamic state, which is one of the chief error sources, we should exactly determine the orbit position for TDRS at first. The orbit determination accuracy for geo-synchronous satellite can only reach several kerometers at present in our country, but the orbit determination accuracy for TDRS should be required in 100m. This paper will discuss an error analysis method for TDRS's orbit determination. The method is on the basis of Three-stations range measurements and all ground stations are confined to the continental PRC area. By assessing & comparing seveal schemes, we selected the best three stations position.
